Neon Yellow and a whole lotta Greenhouse. | Orchestrated Stylized Shoots

On August 12th, Orchestrated's Vignettes event was a super fun success! We had three separate stylized Vignettes for photographers to choose from... engagement, bridal, and day-after. Vignettes wasn't like our regular stylized events; it gives more emphasis on working/posing with everyday ladies and gentlemen, having fun with other photogs, and challenging ourselves to see things in a new way.

The second Vignette was Bridal, and Nicole rocked out that yellow at McDonald's Garden Center!

All of the Vignettes took on a bit of a neon inspiration with some sort of geometric element (which you can see on the Orchestrated Pinterest board); it was a little bit of a challenge because we wanted the neon to be relatable and usable by ALL types of people-- particularly by the people who are immediately turned off by bright, bright colors (like me! haha).

This particular Vignette's color was "neon yellow" (obviously). We wanted something to be contrast and complementary enough with the heavy greens in the greenhouse. Yellow is quite the perfect color. ;) The geometric designs in her gown mimicked much of the angular lines in the greenhouse's roof... kinda LOVE a LOT. :)

A Touch of Neon Pink. | Orchestrated Stylized Shoots

On August 12th, Orchestrated's second Vignettes event was a super fun success!

It all started off with our Engagement Vignette, and Kim and Matt were the perfect couple to brighten up the Adam Thoroughgood House.

All of the Vignettes took on a bit of a neon inspiration with some sort of geometric element (which you can see on Orchestrated's Pinterest board); it was a little bit of a challenge because we wanted the neon to be relatable and usable by ALL types of people-- particularly by the people who are immediately turned off by bright, bright colors (like me! haha).

This particular Vignette's color was "neon pink." We wanted something fun (hence the neon dot sticker game) and light-hearted, especially since many engagement sessions tend to be just portrait-based.

Vignettes, Vol. II is now open for registration!

For the sake of perfection, we've had to reschedule Vignettes Vol. II, and I'm SOOO glad we did. Because August 12th is going to be a ton of nerdy chic a la neon fun.

At each Orchestrated event, even in a stress-less environment, we've noticed that some photographers can still be a little hesitant to pose and guide our models. As a photographer, it's such an integral skill when working with clients, and we want our participants to be confident to try new things and new poses when they don't have the worries of a paying client. :)

We will set the scene, you arrive at your chosen Vignette, I will teach some posing tips, you shoot, and then the rest is just a fun time!

We have three separate stylized Vignettes for you from which to choose... engagement, bridal, and day-after! This isn't like our regular stylized events. The models will be more stylized than anything else. Vignettes is more of an emphasis on working with everyday models, having fun with other photogs, and challenging yourself to think outside the box!

So what's up with "Day-After"? A trend and slowly becoming popular with my own clients has been to have a session in their wedding gear either a day or two after the actual wedding. These are so much more laid back. So much more low-key. And so much more fun because time and pristine wedding gowns are no longer issues. I LOVE this trend, and I'm really hoping more clients take advantage of it in the future. :)
