Celebration Portrait Session Giveaway! - Hampton Roads, Virginia

As the cherry on top of this anniversary sundae, I will be giving away a FREE portrait session (value of up to $375). I told you I like to celebrate, and who doesn't love quality freebies? (I probably would wrangle someone for the title of "Queen of Loving Freebies." haha)

The winner will choose a portrait session out of the following: Growing Together (family/children), Next Chapter (senior/model), Persuasion (boudoir), or To Be (engagement).

How to Enter
Anyone can enter with up to two entries! However, to count as two entries, wall posts must be posted separately.

* 1st Entry- Become a fan on Facebook and write a note on the wall which portrait session you would love to have. If you're already a fan, then kudos! Just say which portrait session you'd love.

* 2nd Entry - Suggest the page to other fans and write on the wall how many people to whom you suggested the page. (e.g., "I rounded up 6 new fans for ya! ;)") [Note- this is done with a little bit of the Honor Code, I know!]

Giveaway begins Sunday, June 13th and ends on Sunday, June 20th. Winner will be chosen by a randomizer selection tool. I will screen capture the number, find that numbered comment within the giveaway timeline, and the winner will be announced on Monday, June 21st at 10pm EST.

Some Rules
* The portrait session must take place on a mutually available date in August or September of 2010 somewhere in the Hampton Roads area.
* The winning session may not be substituted for an already booked portrait session.
* Any location fees (if applicable) are not included in the prize package and must be paid by the client.
* The prize only includes the portrait session and applicable digital files associated with that session. There are no prints or other tangible items included.
* The prize is non-transferable-- the winner who wins is the winner who gets.
* ... and finally, you must have fun and be excited! :)

Yes, it's a random photo I took! Random photo for a random winner! ;)

So, go now and get on Facebook! Best wishes, and I look forward to getting to know at least one of ya better! :)

Jasmine and Rick: A Yorktown, Virginia Engagement

The first time I met Jasmine actually was not in regards to photography. She was our leasing agent for my and Rusty's first apartment together. She found out I was a photographer, and when she got engaged... voila! The rest is history!

It's been so wonderful getting to know Jasmine over the past few months through her whole wedding planning process. Her friendly and warm personality instantly draws people to her (the community residents are always dropping by, including me!). She is gorgeous, inside and out. And to finally meet her fiance at the shoot completed the picture! Rick was just as nice and completely smitten with his wife-to-be. :) The photos really speak for themselves.

Rick proposed to Jasmine at Yorktown Beach, and so we got some memorable shots of them and their "children" all around the historic place. Lola and Miss Preslee were all pretty with their ivory bows. Unfortunately, they got quite excited, and the bows didn't last long!

Cannot wait for their November wedding! We're praying for beautiful weather for this outdoor extravaganza!

Sneak Peek at a Yorktown Engagement.

We all get anxious when we get pictures done. It's that instant gratification thing. Thank goodness for digital film and a task-oriented photographer! :)

Here is a sneak peek at Jasmine and Rick's engagement shoot from this afternoon. Yorktown's weather couldn't have cooperated with us even more! Sure, it was COLD, but the skies and the couple were perfect. We even got Rick to do a ninja kick! ;)

More coming soon...
